Robert SEJALON, Honorary President of the Global Citizen Group

Robert, initially a mechanical engineer, gained over 35 years of business experience in multinational companies. As a Head of Accounting and Controlling, he successfully led several implementations of complex Enterprise Resource Planning systems, and later, as a Chief Information Officer, he paved the way for innovation and reformed mainframe systems into user-friendly web-based corporate applications.

After retiring in 2007, he decided to use his extensive management and corporate knowledge to take a new challenge with Global Citizen! 

He enjoys discovering the World while tasting new dishes with a good glass of wine.

In his sparetime, he likes hiking in the surrounding forests and mountains as well as swimming.

Laure DYKSTRA,

Laure has worked for 22 years in investment banking both in France and abroad for Natixis, Caisse des depots and Indosuez Bank. She has gathered an in-depth experience in banking through key management positions covering international sales teams management, the monitoring of complex and strategic assignments for the bank. These past years, she was a Senior Banker covering Asia and more particularly Chinese banks both in China and Europe for Natixis.

Both her family background -  English and Dutch – and her professional experience have contributed to an early awareness in foreign cultures including the Far East. She has lived over 12 years in the UK and the Netherlands and has enjoyed long stays in China and Japan.

Since 2009, Laure Dykstra is CEO of EastWest conseil and Director of Global Citizen France. EastWest conseil, her own advisory firm, and Global Citizen provide multicultural management and advisory services to companies developing abroad with a specific focus on Northern Asia (China, Korea, Japan). She also dedicates part of her time training future business managers or post graduates in France and Europe on topics such as the banking industry /banking services, business internationalization and intercultural topics.

Laure Dykstra holds a Master from ISG, a French Business School and also has a degree in Chinese from the School of Oriental Languages in Paris and a BA in History. She speaks 5 languages fluently and has a keen interest in foreign cultures.

She spends a lot of her free time playing chamber music and is a dedicated pianist. Besides music, she also enjoys writing and is currently finishing a book on Beijing 1986/2008.

Special Advisor

As the Global Citizen Group's Special Advisor for Information Technologies, Patrice advises on the key directions as far as infrastructure, software and hardware are concerned.

Since he graduated as an Engineer in IT and Telecommunications, he's been working as an IT consultant for multinational companies in Paris, Strasbourg and California's Sillicon Valley.

In his spare time, he enjoys drawing, painting, singing and practicing different types of sports.
